Technical Specifications

  • Active Ingredient

    Triclopyr; clopyralid

  • Mode of Action

Triclopyr works well on many hard-to-control common weeds such as wild violet and oxalis. Clopyralid controls common weeds such as clover, dandelion, narrowleaf plantain and thistle. Together, the two chemistries form an unbeatable duo.

  • Application Rate

Apply 1 to 2 pints of Confront® specialty herbicide per acre to control broadleaf weeds. Use the higher rates when hard-to-control weeds are prevalent, or when making applications in late summer on mature weeds.

  • Application Timing

Sprays should be applied when weeds are actively growing. Application under drought conditions may provide less-than-desirable results.

  • Application Method

Use Confront for broadcast applications or in portable sprayers for spot treatments from early spring through fall when broadleaf weeds are actively growing.

  • Approved Use

Labeled for use on established cool- and warm-season turfgrasses including, but not limited to, turfgrass in sod farms with noted exceptions. Turfgrass and lawn uses are restricted to non-residential sites. Do not use on golf course putting greens or tees.

  • Additional Information

Confront controls up to 35 tough broadleaf weeds with one application and is available in a 1-gallon container.
