Lontrel® specialty herbicide provides effective postemergence weed control of thistle and other hard-to-manage weeds while providing excellent turfgrass tolerance. Can be used on St. Augustinegrass, as well as closely mowed bentgrass and bermudagrass fairways.

    Labeled rates vary from 0.25 to 1.33 pts./A or up to ½ ounce per 1,000 square feet.

  • Application Timing

    Apply when weeds are small and actively growing. Applications of Lontrel® specialty herbicide are rainfast within two hours.

  • Application Method

    Spot treatments should be applied with hand sprayers using a fixed spray volume per 1,000 square feet. Labeled and tank-mixing application rates vary. Agitate the solution thoroughly before and during application.

  • Approved Use

    Lontrel is labeled for use on commercial turf, including turfgrass grown for seed or sod farms, certain ornamental plantings (such as conifers, non-leguminous woody species), and ornamental grasses in landscapes and nurseries.

  • Additional Information

    Lontrel provides superior postemergence control of hard-to-manage weeds around labeled ornamentals and golf courses. It is available in a 1-quart bottle.
