Corteva In North West Africa

Corteva In North West Africa

Inauguration in Casablanca

Corteva

Opened in November 2019, CORTEVA's Casablanca headquarters includes not only North Africa (excluding Libya and Egypt) but virtually all West African countries: Benin, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Ghana, Ivory Coast, Mali, Nigeria, Niger, Togo and Senegal. After Cairo, Johannesburg and Nairobi, this new site is CORTEVA's fourth regional office on the continent. The choice of Casablanca is " a natural recognition of Morocco's role as an agricultural hub for the North-West and West region of Central Africa," said Prabdeep Bajwa, President of Corteva Agriscience, Africa and the Middle East. This commercial intervention zone will be led by Frenchman Alain Pescay. One area, the communiqué, which currently grows cocoa, cotton, rice, maize, banana, vegetables, tea and cereals, is to be specified.

Helping African farmers conserve their resources and land

Corteva Agriscience's success is built on its work to develop seed products, crop protection and digital solutions that producers trust.

It is with sustainable solutions that we improve crop productivity to help producers maximize each   area while preserving resources and land.

Innovation

Shoot more from each earth

Agriculture is a huge daily contribution to Africans. As global demand for food is constantly growing, local producers   are increasingly being called upon to get even more out of their acreage.  Demand for high yields, food products of exceptional quality and safety are factors that justify progress in all dimensions of agriculture, especially in the field of crop protection.

Thanks to the many industry experts across the country and scientific researchers working in our state-of-the-art research centres, our team is constantly making scientific progress and discovery.  They work closely with producers from coast to coast to coast to ensure that we are listening carefully to their needs and what is really happening in the field.

Sustainability

Sustainable development is complex

We know that product improvement is only part of the sustainable development solution.  By working with producers around the world, we can develop products and resources that directly boost yields and help improve the use of water, nutrients and soil.   As a community, we are all moving towards better stewardship of environmental and sustainable practices. The details of the approach vary by country, region, soil type, crop and other environmental factors, but increase productivity, yield and ultimately contribute to the success of   producers around the world.

Collaboration

A commitment to the betterment of our planet

In today's scientific and innovative world, collaboration is an essential element of progress and discovery.  To truly improve the lives of producers and consumers while protecting our   planet, we need to communicate and share our ideas, our views and explore opportunities.
