Benefits

Fast, consistent control

Sequoia® CA insecticide works via contact and ingestion, providing fast knockdown and some residual. The translaminar movement of Sequoia CA allows it to move to the underside of the leaves, helping to control insects not in the direct line of spray. The systemic movement of Sequoia enables it to move to new and expanding leaf tissue.

Unique mode of action

Sequoia CA contains Isoclastactive, the first insecticide to be commercialized from the new sulfoximine class of chemistry. Isoclast active has been designated as the sole member of the new subgroup 4C by the Insecticide Resistance Action Committee (IRAC). It is not a neonicotinoid.

IPM compatible

Dozens of field trials and commercial use on tens of thousands of acres have shown that Isoclast active, the active ingredient in Sequoia CA, has low impact on populations of key beneficial insects, including assassin bugs, lacewings, ladybugs, minute pirate bugs and spiders. Additionally, Sequoia CA has no impact on beneficial mite species. Sequoia CA does not flare mites or secondary pests.

Crop safety

Tolerance for Sequoia CA is very high for crops that have been tested. Field trials were conducted on a variety of crops over a wide range of environmental conditions.
