In addition to working with universities to regularly test nitrogen stabilizer performance, the Corteva Agriscience Nutrient Maximizer sales team members work closely with local farmers to ensure products provide proven, reliable returns on their farms.

Two recent on-farm trials in Monroe City, Indiana, and White County, Illinois, show how stabilizing nitrogen applications can have a positive impact on farmers’ bottom lines.

In these two trials, N-Serve® and Instinct NXTGEN® nitrogen stabilizers, both powered by Optinyte® technology, were applied with anhydrous ammonia and UAN, respectively.

  • Indiana trials resulted in an average yield increase of 36.5 bu./A when using N-Serve nitrogen stabilizer versus a DCD-based competitor.
    • The farm applied 200 pounds of ammonia per acre using each nitrogen stabilizer and replicated the trial in a separate field to compare results.
  • Illinois trial results yielded a 16 bu./A increase using Instinct NXTGEN nitrogen stabilizer over untreated fields.
    • The farm applied 80 units of UAN with 24 oz./A of Instinct NXTGEN nitrogen stabilizer preplant, and sidedressed 80 units of UAN.
    • Soil sample results and photos are from June 20, 2023.

Not all nitrogen stabilizers are created equal. Your customers can improve yields, too, with stabilizers powered by Optinyte technology. Learn more at NitrogenStabilizers.com.
