Applying a Nitrogen Stabilizer on Urea

Something went wrong. Please try again later...

Time is money during the short, busy spring and fall fertilizer application windows. An applicator stopped in the field to scrape fertilizer buildup off spinner units lowers acres applied per day, cutting into a retail operation’s bottom line.

Instinct® HL nitrogen stabilizer is an improved formulation of a trusted product that helps retailers maintain application efficiency and meet customer expectations.

Requiring a one-third-less use rate per acre than Instinct® II nitrogen stabilizer, the water-based product is simple to impregnate on urea and most dry ammoniacal fertilizer blends (such as MAP or DAP) and it mixes easily with UAN and liquid manure fertilizer solutions.

Instinct HL offers farmers who rely on dry fertilizers in their fall and spring nitrogen programs the same nitrogen-maximizing, profit-boosting benefits they’ve come to expect from Instinct and N-Serve® nitrogen stabilizers. Retailers experience easier blending, more application uptime and less product to store and handle.

Stabilizing fall and spring nitrogen applications with Instinct HL protects against the nitrogen losses that occur when spring rains and warm soil temperatures cause leaching. Instinct HL reduces leaching and extends nitrogen availability in the soil for up to eight weeks. By lengthening the time nitrogen is in the soil, the active ingredient in Instinct HL can help your customers achieve an average revenue increase of $21 per acre.*
