Community Celebrates Annual Harvest Ag Festival
The community came together to celebrate the 5th Annual Harvest Ag Festival in West Kauai on Sunday, Oct. 21.
Corteva Agriscience Hawai‘i takes you on an all-immersive, 360-degree virtual reality tour of their 2021 sunflower grow out. Move your phone up, down and side to side to see all around you. Sunflowers have been grown in Waialua for more than 20 years.

In addition to earned media coverage, Corteva secured a segment on HI Now to showcase the sunflowers, the farm's diversity and the 400 acres of locally grown food. The segment featured a student from Moanalua High School's culinary program who created a smoked mustard-glazed sirloin with sweet potato kabocha puree and spring green salad from ingredients grown on the Waialua farm.
