Corteva Agriscience™, Agriculture Division of DowDuPont, Proudly Signs Memorandum of Understanding to Develop Agriculture in Hebei Province

Helping to Mark 35 Years of Iowa-Hebei Sister State Relationship with Cooperation in Agricultural Product Testing and Demonstration

Des Moines, Iowa, Monday, 27 August 2018 – Corteva Agriscience, the Agriculture Division of DowDuPont, today announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with RiseSun Agriculture and Tourism Hebei Agricultural Development Co Ltd. The MOU provides a framework, based on equality, mutual benefit and resource sharing, to jointly carry out product testing and demonstration in agriculture related fields at the “China-U.S. Friendship Demonstration Farm”.

The China-U.S. Friendship Demonstration Farm is located in Luanping County, Hebei, China and was built in September 2017 by leveraging the farming legacy and depth of experience of Iowa-based Kimberley Farms.

All parties hope to use the MOU partnership to contribute to the ongoing modernization of agriculture and farming practices in China with Corteva Agriscience’s portfolio of seeds and crop protection technology.

Head of the Hebel provincial delegation, the Honorable Vice Governor of Hebel Province, Ms Xia Yanjun, joined the Kimberley family of Kimberley Farms and Corteva Agriscience representatives at a signing ceremony today. The signing of the MOU also signifies the further strengthening of the relationship between the province of Hebei with Iowa, its sister state.
